It has been approximately 1 1/2 years since we have had any COVID at our facility. Unfortunately, we are currently seeing the beginning of an outbreak with residents and staff. We ask that our visitors take precautions including sanitizing hands upon entering and leaving the facility. Masks are available at the entry doors. Visits should be defered if you have any signs or symptoms of the common cold, no matter how slight they may be. COVID positive residents are isolated in their rooms for 10 days which is an inconvenience to them and their families. That is one good reason to take precautions. A new COVID vaccine should become available this Fall along with the FLU shot. There is such a thing as vaccine burnout however they are proven to help. May you have a blessed day today.
